Halytech Wireless Receiver, WRX, is a receiver module that allows the Spider to connect to Halytech wireless transmitters. It is ideal for application where wiring is not an viable option such as utility meter monitoring in existing buildings, long term monitoring of industrial process and local sensor networks for environmental monitoring.

Halytech Remote Input Module, RIM, is an input expansion module for the Spider. It is ideal for utility meter monitoring in residential, commercial and industrial applications.
The RIM
- connects to 16 pulse meters with tamper detection or 32 without
- monitors pulse devices such as water, gas and electricity meters.
- connects to a Spider via a RS-485 bus
- has battery backup in the case of power failure
A single Spider can connect to 10 RIM modules to monitor up to 320 inputs.
Spider Wired AMR System
Spider AMR - Wired is Halytech's Wired Automatic Meter Reading base station with built-in telemetry.
The Spider AMR - Wired can:
- monitor up to 320 electricity, water and gas meters
- integrate with pulse and smart meters
- connect to 10 Halytech RIM units
- log (record) data
- send data via e-mail or FTP to users, servers and web sites

The Spider AMR - Wired is designed for long term utility meter monitoring. It interfaces with a wide range of water, electricity and gas meters via Halytech Remote Input Module (RIM) and Modbus. It automatically collects data from all connected meters and sends it to users, server and web sites. Housed in an outdoor enclosure, the complete system includes a Spider device, a power supply a backup battery and all cables.
Once installed the Spider will log data and automatically send reports via e-mail or FTP.
